Life Deceisions?

I have a descent job, making okay.. money but I have been offered a better job making literally double the money. Im scared to take it because i have been with this current company for 2 years. The company in question is SBC/ATT
Im afraid if i go there and something happens i will have to start all over
what would you do?

If the company which offered you double salary is stable then there is no harm in making a change. Secondly, even if you join the new company and may be unfortunately something wents wrong after 1 years or 10 months still you can find a new job and afcourse any company will give you more or atleast equal to what you are getting at present.

If you really feel you're making pretty good money and you feel you like it, basically I'd stick with it with the exception of a couple things: First of all, do you NEED that exgtra money? Is it sales related and that double the money involve commission? Because you're right. If it dosn't work out, you know you can't go back to the company you're with right now. And you could find yourself out of work 5 or six monthes or more, depending what you do and where you live. Something else too: How much money do you have saved up? If you could survive for 5 or six monthes without a working incomeit might be worth going for it.
