how poverty can be removed

Is educating people is the only way to remove poverty from the underdeveloped & developing countries or what other ways are there to remove poverty from this world in a very fast way.

poverty has become prevalent in underdeveloped countries maybe because the gov't hasn't done anything about it. they just focused on other political issues, forgetting those who are in real need of help. in our country, poverty is prevalent because the gov't is corrupt. instead of using the money for underpriviledged ones, they use govt funds to fill their pockets and to make their lives better. Corruption has really made a lot of our contrymen miserable.

Education is a beginning, however a better infrastructure and living conditions in general is alway needed to end poverty.
