Is possible to be true in life?

My friend who is IN A joint family is caught in between his wife and mother. He is fond of his mother and does not want to break the family. But he is not leading a peaceful life. he says it had become difficult for him to be true and wonders wheather it is possible to be true in life.

I'm not sure what you mean by true? If you mean go through your entire life without telling a lie, then no I don't think that's possible. Or maybe it's just me :-D
