i really dont think that it takes away that 'manlihood' of men when their wives earn more.. after all.. they are their 'wives' and not 'aliens' .. although it may be natural for them to want to pursue the same career that their wife is if she makes more.. but then.. that's a natural aspect of all people.. and thus.. it's probably nothing surprising

why should they. if you are a family does it matter who makes more? as long as the money is going in the bank and our lives are better i wouldn't care if the dog made more! money is green and it allows you to buy what you need and want, who cares who makes more

I don't think they should. I know a lot of men do though. I guess it has to do with men have been raised to think they are supposed to be the bread winner and whhen his wife makes more he feels he isn't doing his job.

no i dont think men should care. the money is coming into the household paying bills and buying things you might not be able to buy without her having such a good paying job. i dont know if it takes away from their manlihood i think it's more peers telling them dude your wife makes more than you do what are you gonna do about that?? they want to look big in front of their friends and coworkers and to them they can't do that without making more money than their wife. my boyfriend and i worked at the same place selling cars. he was selling used and i was selling new and i sold more than he did. but statistics show that women in car sales sell more than guys do just because they are women.
