I totally agree. For a long time he has a hit coming out every year now we hear so little of him. I hope to see him in concert again... I believe his is on tour with Billy Joel now? Thanks Zelo

I always liked Bennie and the Jets myself, but I also love Goodbye Yellow Brick Road; The 70s really shined for Elton John and his best came from that time. Not to say he lost it, but that is it.

[i]There is some record he holds for having a hit every year or every decade or something of the sort... I think it is every decade... 70/80/90/00. That is just crazy that he can keep cranking out hit after hit after hit. It was totally awesome to see him in concert and would love to see him again![/i] Thanks for the response Zelo

Elton John has many wonderful songs. My favorite may be Candle in the Wind. It's a nice song and it's also very meaningful because it's a song for Princess Diana. I love China

"Sacrific" was like the first song that i heard when i was growing up. But i still feel,his best song ever is "ORIGINAL SIN". It just take me to an outer space. My honey use to sing it for me, all the more reason for me to love this song.. ;)

Awww some emotional sentiment added to the song... I listened to a song of his today and I was in a melancholy sort of mood that was just perfect for the sappy love songs that Elton John sings so well. Thanks for the response Zelo

My all-time favorite is "Someone Saved My Life Tonight"! My other all-time favorite is "Your Song"! So wonderful! And so hard to just have to choose only one!

My favorite is a classic: "Burn Down the Mission." It's vintage Elton with a tinge of country flavor. It rocks the house!

Elton John definately went in a different direction with that song. It is one of those that you really love or just... don't like. I think it shows he can go 'outside the box' and write and sing songs that are not the classic Elton John we are all used to. Thanks for the response Zelo

Actually benny and the jest is one of my least favorties of his, I think it is too long and repetative, My favorite of his has to be I guess that's why they call it the blues.

True. The song is one of those early '70s songs that is very long. At 5:20 it is about 2 minutes longer than what the songs of today are.

Your Song comes to mind, and so does Candle in the wind; the theme from Friends is a strong contender. There are so many songs that I like, Skyline Pigeon being one of them, it is almost impossible to pick one as above the rest.
