Blog or Web Hosting?

Currently my blog uses sub-domain from blogspot and I am planning to by my own domain and host soon in other platform, any suggestions and tips regarding web hosting will be highly appreciated.

I operate a few web sites and I use HostNed http://www.hostned.com for my web hosting. They are very reliable and helpful. Highly recommended. I like the SDL-Power 3000 account since it comes with all the goodies like forums, blogs, and other scripts pre-installed :)
