walking or driving???

i have a car...but many times i choose to walk home or anywhere i need to go (but not more than 9 miles), i think it's much more heathier. what do you think?

i would drive to longer distances, but walking is healthier...

I don't have a car and I walk a lot. It's kind of awful in the winter though when it gets really cold outside.

Walking up to shorter distances is alwaz better... You're not only saving on fuel but it's also good for your health to have a brisk walk upto a few kms! :)

I walk or take mass transit; I don't own a car. I love to walk, and also I can see what's going on in my town when I walk--what's in the store windows, what sales are going on, special events, bands playing at different clubs, etc.

I love walking! :) When I was at highschool I was prefering to go home walking and not takeing the BUS .. I don't like to go anywhere with car.. I like to go with train.. or.. walkin...:) Is healthy.. and that's my style:)

im learning how to drive these days n its much more fun than walking but still walking is not only health and its also environment friendly

I like to walk too. Not just because it's healthier but it also gives me a chance to think things through, work off tension, take in mother nature's latest landscape etc. I usually say I'm doing it for exercise though because people where I live think it's insane to walk more than 1/2 mile unless your car is down or you're trying to lose weight, exercise etc.
