Who Owns The Moon? Lets Fight For It!

So I watched a thing the other day about how the next great war will be over the moon. Well maybe not the exact next war, seeing how things in the middle east are going, but it will be a problem in the future. Multiple countries are already discussing plans to create moon bases and it won't be too long before we start fighting over it. It seems the MAIN reason the US of A wants to be established on the Moon is to create space weapons. This would be seen as a threat from other countries, maybe even starting a new cold war/space race. Also if you are as open minded as me then you wont scoff at the idea that was also mentioned in the video. They also state that alien life is also based at the moon. The video even went as far as to show where moon bases are actually already on the moon, and how NASA as blotched them out. It also points out that the reason our moon program suddenly stopped was because of this finding. By building space weapons we could also become a threat to the aliens, thus causing a war with them. I don't know, it was interesting nonetheless, but it makes you wonder...

Well, I'm actually pretty sure that this may stay a non-issue. I believe that all the major nations of the world agree that no one could claim land outside of the Earth. This lead to a few interesting things. One man claimed the entire moon as his land, and it looks like he has a little bit of ground to stand on legally. If nothing else, he made a fortune by selling 1 million acres to some company that made astronaut toys. A space war is a possibility though, but I hope that we can avoid it, as it would be such a waste.

I see it as, if you can fight over it, it will be fought over. For some reason we just like to war over anything.

I think we will receive some peace once another big war breaks out. I mean, if nukes are used and we aren't extinct, I think people will be like "wow" and give up on war for some time due to the shock of such destruction. Maybe not a long time, but some. I guess it takes war to make people realize how bad it is. If all the energy that was put into war was put into other things, we would be at a much greater height in civilization than we are now. Too bad the human race is full of warmongers.

Sad, but true. I personally think that most of the major world nations will wipe each other out before we ever get to the moon. Wow, this topic really depressed me. It's sad to think about the fact that an age of peace will probably never come. Think of the things that we could have accomplished if so much of our focus had never been on war.

Well the weapons would be rockets and lasers and such. Ive also read about a weapon that already exists that shoots large steel rods at high speeds. The speed is so great that there doesn't have to be any explosive device, whatever it hits just get obliterated.
