Why seeing an older woman with a younger man is uncommon?

Okay I gotta respond to this one. I am 6 years older than my husband. It's just the way it worked out. Luckily I am aging well and he is not (ha-ha). Ok really he just has a lot more gray than I do. We have been married for seven years and have to beautiful children. My friends and family don;t seem to see a problem with our age difference in fact my younger brother's wife is several years older than him too.
And something else to consider ladies:
1. Most women outlive their hubbies by an average of 8 years.
2. There is something to be said for youth and vigor. (wink, wink, nod, nod).

And that makes life unfair, doesn't it? I guess we don't have any right to condemn those people who are dating somebody way younger than them so long as they are both single.
Love is not about the age, it's about how two people fit each other, and how they can go through the odds of life with each others company. So whether it's an old man or woman dating a younger woman or man, that's their business and that's what makes them happy...so we better leave them and just be happy for them.
