Winter finally arrived

Yes it's the same here, I live in Northern Va. and it's very cold here. I don't mind the winter coldness, but man I swear the snow gets to me. The main reason is because I have yet to get out in it and drive. I'm so scared to drive in it, I will stay home...haha I hope it stays cold and no more...

I completely understand how you feel.Its cold here too where I am,but theres no snow. That said I would also say that we always are unthankful towards what we have.I previously lived in another city which is the coldest in our country.I now miss the snow season which then I thought was a bane.I miss the wite snow laden trees,the fire place,the coffe times I had with my family...the snow fights, making the snowman,the white wisp of breath....theres so much that I now realize I enjoyed so much.Im not saying it was all fun but it was worth it. That is why I try to make as much as possible of the time and every thing else God has blessed me with.I would suggest you do the same instead of cursing this weather.Enjoy life yaar!!

Winter has not arrived here yet as far as the cold weather though it is getting colder and from watching the news this evening it looks like winter will hit us hard next week as it is supposed to get very cold here. No snow in the forecast yet but cold weather is coming. Please be careful if you are out in a wind chill advisory. It can be dangerous out in the cold weather like you had there.

Yes, it's due to arrive in New England on Saturday to Monday. Snow, sleet, freezing rain..all coming our way. I'm in Ma and south of Boston..we are suposed to get I think.. freezing rain, rain and then maybe snow, depending on how it goes. My guess is we'll get a blizzard or some freak storm. Last year we had tons of "Lightening and Thunder Snow Storms" Those are pretty wierd..lol
