When is the last time you actually picked up a pen and paper and wrote someone a thank you note and actually mailed it in a mail box?

I don't do this and I've never done such a thing. When I need to thank someone I just tell it to him. I don't understand why do I need to use a letter and a mail for that.

I think that is definitely the wave of the future. I know growing up, when i got money or a gift from grandparents or aunt/uncle I had to sit down and write a thank-you card. After birthdays were especially busy with thank-you cards. Nowadays, i really don't think anyone does. Even greeting cards are having a hard time with sales.
