I say live and let live. People
since the beginning of time have
been decorating their bodies.
Tattoos are a way of expressing
your feelings. Multiple piercings
is a form of rebellion. "Look at
me and see that I'm different from
you." What's nice about piercings
is that once you're done with that
stage they can be removed.
Of course not all piercings are of
that nature, again a lot of it is
adorning the body as one does with
clothes, accessories, make-up, etc.
Unfortunately prejudice exists in
our world and people don't judge a
person's character before they judge
a person's appearance.

Thanks for the nod. It's a shame the
sort of judgmental world we live in.
Next thing you know, instead of fighting
wars based on greed and or religion, it
will be about appearance. ‹(°¿°)›

I think they are acceptable in society today. I have a tattoo, my husband as two, my sister as three! I went to meet another young mom today, and I was wondering why her gum always seemed to be in the same place in her mouth, until I realized it was a green tongue stud. Why not? People get them to express themselves, and get tattoos to mark something important to them. I don't regret mine one second.
