I bought a pair of hockey skates.

Do they need extra care? Are they any different from average skates?

They should be! Think about it: hockey is much more extreme than figure or average skating! THey should be better built and have some special blades or something. I guess that envolves special care for them and other procedures of maintainance...Don't they coem with a user's manual or something? They can't really expect the user to know what to do with them all by himself, do they?

I guess you are right...I did receive a user's manual, but it's very brief and it doesn't look at all professional. I'll just go by the shop where I got them from and maybe they can help me....
