Fighting Off "Chubs McDubs" - What Exercise Regime Works For You?

So, I am not in the best of shape. I am not fat but do have a little bit of a stomach coming in. It is what I like to call becoming "Chubs McDubs." So I wanted to ask you guys (and ladies) what do you do that works for you regarding working out and the things you eat. I guess this is an asking for advice sorta post. I would rather get REAL info from REAL people rather than browsing the internet which is full of false information. Your input is greatly appreciated!

I find that walking is the best thing that works for me. I lost 30 pounds just from walking 3-4 days a week for 45 minutes (quick pace). I want to get rid of the belly and was using one of those rolling chairs that help you do sit-ups, but I got tennis elbow in my arm and can't hold onto or press the bar. I think it actually CAUSED my tennis elbow. So I have to stay away from that for now. So I just stick with walking and drinking lots of water.
