If you bring up a child wonderfuly, He will definitely grow up that way. Teach him that fear is the first killer of man, and he will remove fear from his dictionary. Teach him about the difference maker (attitude) and the sky is his starting point in life. And do not hesitate to rebuke him, when he is wrong.
Most importantly teach him to love. Share the love from within him.Teach him to share love at every point in time. To have friends he will have to be a friend too. I believe in what i have shared with all of you, paint your own views.

I totally agree.
I guess how you rear your children mirrors how you are raised and what kind of person you are.

I think that children need balance. They need attention and love, but they also need discipline and responsibilities. The best way to raise a good child is to lead by example. In a simplified example: if you don't want your children to say bad words, then don't say bad words yourself. The rest will follow.

Also Teaching a love of learning...
Teaching them to read, and how to self teach themselves,
and follow interestructions, and do things themselves.
Teaching independance,
Teaching love of nature...
Teaching Good values of sharing and generosity, and good manners.
Manners may make him stand out at first, but after awhile people will become comfortable in knowing that your child can be depended on, and is really nice and respectable at heart.
Teach Multi cultural and Multi religious tolerance...
I found in the children I have helped raise this has helped prepare them for the world.
