What was your wedding like and where did you go for a honeymoon?

Our wedding was lovely. Back in my native country, weddings are done with much pomp and festivity. We have a wedding reception on the first day and the wedding ceremony on the next day. I know, its a little odd to have the reception before but a lot more people attend the reception than the wedding. There were atleast 1000 people at the reception and around 800 at the wedding. I had to come to the US with my hubby right after we got married, so we couldn't go on our honeymoon immediately. But we did go to Hot Springs, Arkansas..we stayed at a ranch and it was very nice. I had a very untraditional wedding..In fact it was quite wacky! We flew to Vegas and got married at the Viva Las Vegas wedding chapel by Elvis lol...Elvis drove me into the church, yes INTO the church in a Pink Caddy!! He sang "That's alright", "Love me Tender" and "Viva Las Vegas" I wore a cute short white wedding dress and white go-go boots and my hubby wore a Hawaiian shirt..It was a blast..We only had a few guests that flew out there too but the cool thing that the chapel does is broadcast your wedding LIVE over the internet so everyone back home watched our crazy wedding! The whole thing cost us $700 and that included the limbo ride and champagne toast..They also put our names in Lights on the Billboard outside! So we had a memorable and different kind of wedding that was really cheap which left us lots more to have an amazing 2 week honeymoon!!
