it is not a health food, just a junk food. as i know,in america, KFC is chose only when no enough time exists for people to have a formal and good dinner. but in china, you know, the KFC price is relatively high compared with chinese restaurant food and the quality of service is also better than chinese restaurant. so eating in KFC can bring yousatisfaction of peacockery. this is just why chinese people like eating in KFC, although do not like the food there.

i dont know if u mean single people or whole countries but it is true that in some countries KFC isnt welcomed. and an example is germany, i have relatives there and they have never heard of KFC, neither in austria. i dont know what policy they have but it makes me sad while i love that food. but for my luck in poland there is KFC and so i can enjoy meal there.

I don't know. I live in Thailand and people here love KFC a lot. My family ordered take-home Kfc almost every week. Anyway, i have been to Christchurch, New zealand once and KFC here tasted worse than i have in my country. And it seemed it wasn't popular there also.
But Here, KFC adapt its taste to Thai people. We have both original ( which isn't popular at all) and hot&spicy fried chicken. Personally, i like Hot&spicy fried chicken even i don't eat spicy food. It doesn't taste That spicy. For me, it's really delicious. You should try it at least once when you visit Thailand.
