Are you ready and excited for the new season? I know I am. I absolutely love this show and can't wait until next Tuesday. Who were your favorites last year? I really loved Taylor but I would have to say that Chris Daughtry and Kelly Pickler were my favorites. I also get a kick out of the ones who can't sing but think they can. I could never make a fool out of myself like that!

David Archuleta and David Cook. They are both really good.I think Jason will be gone after tonight. I might be wrong but the songs he did both sounded really bad to me. He has a lot of fans though.

David Cook is my favorite since Carly and Michael got voted off. I missed it again last night so I don't how good any of them were but I did find out this morning that Jason was voted off. I wanted him gone a long time ago. I am surprised Syesha has made it this far. :)

I love Chris, Kelly and Taylor but you're right, Chris and Kelly have done better than Taylor. I missed it tonight because we are having Satellite problems but I hope this was the only night that I miss it.
Who is your favorite this year? Mine was Carly Smithson and Michael Johns but since they have been voted off I am voting for David Cook. :)

Yes last season was very good. I hope this season is even better. I watched season 1 and 2 but I don't remember watching 3 and 4. :)

I take that back. I did watch some of season 4 because Bo Bice was my favorite! :)

I betted on Taylor Hicks to win last season because of his charisma onstage, but my favorite was Chris Daughtry! It's just that Chris' voice wasn't as versatile as Taylor's, but really, Chris' fan base was huge too! I liked Elliot Yamin too.

Chris and Kelly were my favorite and then Taylor. I was so surprised when Chris was voted off. I think everyone was surprised. :)

Life is good when American Idol is on! I love it just as much now as when it first started. Every year I say I won't get attached to any performer and I won't vote but every year I cave, usually when it's Top 6.

Yes life is good when it's on. It's finally tonight! Another hour and a half here. I will definitely have a favorite and I will be voting every week just like last year! :)

I loved Bo! Season 4 was good.
Tonight's season opener was weird. That first (Mall of America) girl? They seemed to take so much time with her rejection--just let the girl cry and let her go. It was uncomfortable how long they had the camera in her face.

I'm like you, I can't wait either. I didn't get to watch it too much last year as most of the time I was at work so don't have any favorites. I also liked Chris and Kelly. As for Katherine, she seemed to fake. Anyway, this year I am not working so I will be able to watch every week.

American Idol is one of my favorite shows! You missed a good season last year. Yeah Katherine did seem a little fake. Especially when Simon picked the song "Somewhere over the rainbow" for her to sing and it seemed to go right to her head but I still thought she was good. Kelly Pickler was better though! :) Thanks for your response.

I'm a fan of American Idol as well. I was a Chris and Katherine fan. I was upset when Taylor won. I didn't think he should have won. People were so hard on katherine when, in my opinion, they shouldn't have been.
