Do you like old movies or new movies? for me it is very strange that I like old movies more than new movies while the new movies have more technology and also coloured but I like the atmosphere and actors of old movies more, now adays I feel that poeple make movies to earn money but in the past actors make movies because they like thier job really. What you think and what is your opinion?

Personally, I think old movies were just made better. Even the old black and white films. In the town where I grew up, there was an old movie house where they played only films that were at least 10 years old. I used to spend saturday afternoons with my brothers watching Laurel and Hardy, Abbot and Costello, and the old Blondie films. And if we were lucky, we would get a good feature film, like Gone with the wind, or Casablanca. I will stay up all night and wait if I see that there is a good old film on AMC. And I would travel a dozen miles to see a Fred Astaire film.
I enjoy newer movies. I love films from the 80's. But there was a simpler time. I missed out on that time. Fortunately, I can live it through old cinema.

I like both, but I like old movies better. I think the stories were better and the acting. There are plenty of good new movies, but sometimes they spend too much time on the technology and not the story. Old movies don't have that problem.

I like a lot of the new movies, but there are a lot of old movies which I prefer. I started collecting old movies last year and it is quite difficult to get some of them as they are now obsolete. A couple of the ones I really like is Madam X starring Rock Hudson and Lana Turner, and The Thorn Birds which stars Richard Chamberlaine. I have lots more and I am still searching as I want to build up my collection.
