Lakers as a "Team" or are they individuals playing a team sport?

At times I see they play wonderfully as a "team" but then when they lose to teams they should have beat I question that. What is the reason for a team like the Lakers to lose to a team that is not a winning team?

well, I think the reason for them losing to under .500 teams is that they think they will beat them easily. so they don't try as hard as they would against dallas. if they were actually healthy, lakers would've been probably 4th seed right now. but as of late, they are playing disappointing basketball

Yes I agree, they are not playing the best they can as a team. I am very disappointed in the level of play they have shown this year. Individually they are not bad, Kobe excels but that is not the way to win championships let alone a division title. I remember the Lakers of the 80's when I would watch the first 5 minutes of a game and you could already feel the outcome of the game taking the course of a "W". I have not felt that sensation for a long time. I hope the Lakers will regain their stature as a powerhouse team.
