With it being the new year Im sure that most of us have resolved to loose a little weight. At least a few of those holiday pounds. Here is a tip for loosing one pound a week. There are 3500 calories in a pound of weight. This means that if you cut out 500 calories a day, you will loose one pound in a week. Do you know how easy it is to cut 500 calories. How many bottle or cans of soda do you drink a day? Cut out two bottles or 3 cans and you've cut about 500 calories.

This sounds like a very reasonable way to lose weight gradually and so that it doesn't even feel like a diet. I read that walking a few times a week takes off something like 6 lbs in a year too.
Add some water to the plan too and it will help to maximize the results.

Instead of cutting out calories, you can also exercise enough to burn 500 more calories a day.... I'm not a big eater, so it's very hard for me to cut out 500 calories because my body is already used to only eating about 1000 calories a day. If I cut out 500 calories, my body will think I'm starving! lol! So, I make sure that I exercise at least an hour a day and that way I'll burn at least 500 calories (depending on what exercising I'm doing).
My problem is that my body is so used to me not being a big eater, that if I don't exercise, I cannot lose weight.

I don't drink any kind of soda but that's good advice for others who do. Getting braces has helped me to loose around 5 pounds in around 4 weeks.

Very good suggestions. Also, drink more water instead of soda and exercise about an hour a day, 5 days a week and you're all set and on the way to better health!
