i dont know too much about it.
what would you recommend for a civic?
i forgot what year it is, 2000 - 2002.
price range: below $1000
JBL, JL, Alpine?
what do i need?
amp, sub, speaker, headunit, etc?
im just thinking about one amp and one sub, and whatever else i should have.

If you want trunk space get one 12" Sub, To a 600watt or more amp. Alpine makes great Amps, so does kenwood, MTX, Audiobauhn, I'd replace stock CD deck also. Sony Makes great X-plode decks. Great sound. Replace your stock speakers get 6 1/2" front and 3 way 6X9's for the back. IF trunk space doesn't matter. 2 10" subs sound really clean, and 2 12" subs will pound. Should be within budget. get a cruchfield catalog of line and check it out.
