What's the matter with MyLot?

Yeah, they changed things up a lot to encourage people to work hard to get to 500, and because they feel that people who have over 500 rating will know and understand the rules, and be able to give quality posts. So, just keep plugging away until you hit 500, and everything will be allowed again!

While you were gone, they apparently changed things. You now have to have 500 points by your name in order to post pictures and copy and paste text. This is to help prevent cheaters. I don't know that it has totally taken care of the problem, but I guess that it must have helped to cut down the cheating somewhat or Mylot would have repealed the new rule by now. I am sorry that you are frustrated with the changes :/ I only started here 12 days ago on the first of the month, so I wasn't here before this rule.

My balance just increased by $0.01 after a 3 hour posting??? dah!!! what $0.01 what did i do wrong?

Maintain your response to any discussion,dont mind the points deducted to you,it will be back after you enter a new response,I believe that mylot management still observed the very good thing's of fair earning to increase our benefit.

I am a newbie to Mylot but have seen many changes in this little while. Is MyLot always this dynamic? I mean I am not sure whether by the time I reach 500, they will raise the bar to say 1000.

Ya the system is so confusing.... i think they require 500 credit points...coz they need us to be proper users of mylot... I feel so what do u think

Mylot made it so we cannot copy and paste until we have five hundred or more points same of posting an image. As to losing points I lost 2 then got them back. But some things I respond to in my original wording no copying and pasting it erases and says try again you cannot copy and paste when I did not do that and tonight it did not credit it me with 7 responses I made to other peoples discussions. So I am going to complain about that. It will give me 1 point for every 3 responses now. That is not fair.

I am confused that you were able to post an image when you have not reached 500 points. You are not the first person to do so. I don't get that. MyLot sent an alert telling us you had to have 500 to do that (while you were away), so why are some people under 500 still able to post pictures?

Hmm came back after vacations.well we woluld pffer you a welcome, yeah really mylot has changed alot!now only users with atleast 500 points can copy/paste in the discussions, they can only upload photos while answering discussions,most imp. is that the interface has changed and finally u r seeing "stars" above all members these are ratings mylot community assings to every user in view of his participation in discussions and quality responses! I got on myLot to have fun talk to people not to have to work to get 500 post. I don't see how this is improveing the site all I see is that it is restricting people from expressing them self loke you have done in the a past.

they did this to help make the posts and discussions more valuable to the community. it will grow on you and it does make mylot better over all. its to prevent scammers and people just copying and posting others discussions.

I can only discuss with you about your point accidentally dropped,when it happen like that you don't have to be worried ok,when next you log in,you will see your normal point.it happen to me one's.

myLOT has introduced a lot many features to reduce spam so tat is why u r getting so many chances .it has become a better world to play upon..

I know that despite the rule change may seem unfair to alot of people, it is motivating me to get a higher and higher post count.

While you were away, myLot made changes to its rules here and the way people do things. You can only include images in your discussions if your rating is 500 or higher. The reduction in points could be because of the topics you created or you replied to a topic that got deleted because it violated the rules. You lose points whenever a discussion gets deleted that you participated in. Copying and pasting is also limited to people that have a rating of 500 or higher so you should check the rules of myLot to see what is new.

They set up a 500 rule to keep off the spam. I write every single one of my resoponses by hand. I dont copy and paste any of it, and it really doesn't take that long to get to 500, I was at 500 in the first or second week of being on this site, and always posted well thought out posts/responses, and dont do the yes or nos. that doesnt need to be done. They picture thing, I dont think they want people to just keep spamming it like they do. And if someone took the time to get above 500 posts, they are more likely not to spam there pictures, and be more respective to the site with the pictures. You can due without it. And for the point wise, you might of had a few posts that were deleted while you were gone, that didn't show till after you have posted once.

mylot has made several changes. but don't worry it's for the good of mylot and mylot users. just keep posting.

maybe there is a technical problem in here my points too dropped from 310 to 309, gald that it's only 1 point. And according to mylot rules, you can't really copy and paste until you reach the 500 credit points, thats why.

my friend,learn to accept changes.you can't think that this system would remain permanent.they change so as to attract more number of users to mylot.so keep your cool and continue visiting mylot.
