Yes I buy old books both antiquarian (over 100 yrs) old and used old. I've worked as a book scout off and on since my college days and now have my own business selling books (& a few other things) on and off line. For my personal use I pick up books at estate sales, thrift shops and auctions for less money than my library fees sometimes run.

Yeah only online though. And I only buy them off of esteemed websites like Amazon where there's less risk of being a scam. And also because Amazon has some guarantees to protect the people who order the books via their website.

Yes. Some with the librarians and other bookbuyers still hanging on with their teeth.
Suggested site: Abebooks.com have a really great, searchable range of almost impossible to find, out of print, books. I've been writing a book called War Is A State Of Mind, and even the official histories are out of print. So I have to get an Australian history from an American bookstore. The print industry must be the most inefficient, market-insensitive, of all media, and that ain't good.

Yes I do buy old books and love them, just because a book is old and a little worn does not make the contents of that book any less valuable to its readers.

Yes I do buy old books and love them.Because a book is old and maybe a little worn in,does not effect the content of the book and its worth for all who lev to read.Rather it be an old book or a new one, the information inside the book is still well worth the price.
