Have you every been prescribed medication and have to remain on it for a long period of time?
Then found that you have become addicted?
The doctors prescribe my partner some tablets to help cure H Pylori and retrain her stomach the drugs prescribed are actually addictive and cause rather bad side effects but she must stay on them for at least 6 months....
If she stops abruptly she will suffer from even worse side effects like loosing her marbles at times....
So are the doctors actually causing a secondary problem on addiction?
How would the doctors see their way to quelling the addiction more drugs?
The 2 Drugs I am refering to are Motilium and Amitriptyline..
The simple mistake of having a Bourbon and coke whilst on them can cause very serious side effects as well this is found whilst researching the drugs......
So as you can well imagine these tablets are to cure you but you have to change your whole life style ie:cant have a quiet drink with freinds as well as the addiction to drugs that alter the chemicals within our brain causing sometimes worse side effects than the actual problem you started with...
It isnt just alcohol its also certain foods and additives that can cause an adverse reaction......
