I feel that they should get a little something for the service they provide to us. I have noticed that at times they really do take quite a bit in fees and that does get discouraging. Without them though you wouldn't be able to buy, sell and get money from sites such as this as easy.

you are right they do,but without them I wouldn't have been able to transfer money as quickly as I have when buying things on ebay or other sites. So I guess it is worth it in the long run.

As the others said, they do have to make money for their service. My beef is that every company and government service and whatever you can think of are gouging us left, right and centre. We got charged interest on our credit card because we mistakenly didn't pay the full amount. We shorted by about $50 on a $1300 bill. We were charged interest for the full amount of the bill, not just the $50. Now we have to overpay our bill to make sure we get all the interest cleared up because it is gaining daily. And we cannot use the card until we get it completely cleared because whatever we add will also get dinged. It's ridiculous. I overpay my bills a lot of the time, rounding them out to the nearest dollar or two above. It's so unfair that they should charge me when I am such a good paying customer.
Is it any wonder we cannot survive in today's society? Between inflation and service fees and employee raises not coming close to meeting those increases, we are all struggling.
