lost without knowing

im 19 years old, married, and 4 months pregnant. my husband is great, but seeing him acting like a father makes my heart ache. ive never met nor seen pictures of my biological father but have often tried looking for him. i finally gave up when i went to his last address and he wasnt living there. should i pick up my search again, or let the past go?

Im in the same situation. I'm 29 and my father hasnt seen me since I was 3 weeks old (his decision). I have 3 kids of my own and my husband is the father to my kids that I always wanted for myself and Im so happy about that. However, I always feel like a part of me is missing because I dont know my father. You have to decide for yourself if you do want to try finding your father again. You have to hope for the best and prepare for the worst. He may have a family now and not want anything to do with you, but on the other hand, he may have been thinking of you all this time but been too scared or ashamed to find you! I would like to locate my father but am just scared that he wont want anything to do with me after all of these years!
