Bills, bills, and more bills

I got the mail today and there was a stack of bills. I go home and place them on the already high stacked pile of bills. When did things become so rough? Is it me or has the expenses of life increased. My friend works at Sees candies, and she told me that the other day someone came in with a certificate for a 2 pound box of chocolates. The certificate was made out in 1960. The price of the certificate was for a dollar. So basically in the past few decades, expenses have multiplied a lot. Does anyone have this same problem with bills? Do you pay your bills on time or do you wait for them to stack up and then start paying little by little?

I plan everything out once I see what my husband's paycheck is, and then pay them on time. He gets paid twice a month, so I basically know what bills fall into what part of the month. There is a lot though, and prices are going higher and higher. I just got my Verizon bill, and my plan went up five dollars with no notice! I promptly dropped it for a cheaper one.

I'm with verizon wireless as well. And the same thing happened to me, and I didn't understand why. My bill used to be 100, and I got the bill the other day and it's 115. I think I need to call them. What carrier did you switch to?

If you think it is hard now, try living on one income with seven kids! LOL It is not easy! I think the cost of living exceeds the average income. Hence, the national min wage is being increased. But from what I understand, it is going to be increased over time. I think that sucks because as this time passes, the rate of the cost of living will continue to rise faster than the average wages. It is such a vicious cycle! LOL

Yes I do and I think it is awful how things are rising and then they wonder why People get into Debt. Here in the UK the prices of Electricity and Gas has risen severly and they know that People need this to live so they have to have it, so they know they can get away with it. Basically if you don't pay your Bill you get cut of and then you have no Gas and Electric.

yeah bills are a bummer, but I guess they are a fact of life, the best thing to do is put them in priortiy and work off them one at a time, that way you will feel like you are achomplishing something. My always tells me she remembers when bread cost 10 cents, but thats before my time.
