Advertisements. Do you ever see an advertisement

and decide to make sure you do NOT buy that product or service because you either hate the advertisement or because you have seen it so many times it makes you sick? I am sure you have noticed that myLot is a lot about advertisements. How about considering that the company had to pay enormous amounts of money to place the advertisement and you will not only have to be exposed to the advertisement and suffer through it but pay for it too by buying the product or service? I will often choose not to buy for these reasons. Unless I really like the product or service a lot, I will often avoid paying that company money. My reward to them for forcing me to see the ad. Also however, if that product or service is simply the best value out there I will reconsider the vote I make with my money. Because after all we do vote for products and services with our purchases. What do you think about advertisements and companies? Are advertisements really necessary or would word of mouth do just as well? Is there a better way to get a product noticed then with advertising perhaps? Please share your thoughts.
