Which movie you preferred most SEQUEL of an movie and A FRESH NEW MOVIE.

I do like movies with sequels, but sometimes the follow up movies aren't nearly as good. I still am fond of movies that have one or more sequels, though, because I am the type to get really invested in the characters in a story and I kind of hate to let them go. That is why I prefer long running television shows and book series that go on and on to most movies. I'm really not a huge movie going person myself.

I'm not sure I prefer sequels to a new movie. I agree alot of times a movie ends and you'd like to see more. The problem is, most of the time the original is the best. I think the worst sequel I've seen was short circuit 2. or at least one of the worst. What would you say is the best and worst sequel you've seen?

I like a movie with sequel like starwars and Lords of the ring. I usually watch those movies with sequel it excites me more.

I don't know to choose whether sequel or new movie. a new movie which has a good story will be exciting to see. Maybe from a good new movie, will be born many sequel movies. Sequel movie maybe good if they first movie was good too. but if their first movie isn't good it won't be exciting to see. unless if the movie maker change its storyline and effect dramatically which can make the viewer surprise with its story and effect.

yeah me too like sequeals..so far my favourite is the matrix trilogy....sequels actually set the pace of the movie..mostly if made with same zeal and poassion they are close to the entertainmment...and i dont like endings of anytype..continuity is part of the life

well..i would say it depends....it is the part 1 movie that does the job for other sequels.....it is responsible for creating the necessary hype....the only reason the sequels are so much wanted is coz the 1st part did well and everyone wants to see what will be the next part....well the best example will be matrix.....the 1st part was much better than the rest and the opposite for dhoom....dhoom2 is just muych better than the 1 sereis....u must have been there...it was the only movie to be shown at 12 in the nite at om cine plex....i still remember the nite...1st time in kota..aint it

its not always that sequels are good, i prefer sequels which are based on celerated books or some real incident like LOTRs, Godfather, bourne series, terminator, harry potter. I prefer new movies particularly sci fi and comedy. I luv Tom Hanks movies...he is god..

i prefer a fresh story line than a sequel or a remake i dont like to see a movie again and again with different stars todays directors need to know that

My favourite sequal has to be Aliens. Alien was good... but this put a great new emphasis on the franchise.

i think part-2 and part-3 are best choices compare then any new movie.
