Do you take the time to stop & smell the roses?

I always take time out to go to the beach and listen to the waves crush against the shores and the stars and the sky

I think life is so short and we pack to much into one day that we need to stop and reflect on things that or important. Like God, and all the wonderful things he created in nature an the world.

I take time to look at and appreciate so many things in nature that I have hardly time to do anything some days. I love to watch sunlight play on water or the birds in my garden. It's nice to show my boys the little changes nature makes every day and watch the wonder on their faces. I love to watch animals and watch every nature programme I can find for my boys in the hope they will look after our world if they understand and love it. Yesterday they were looking at the dew on cobwebs and the way the dew fairies light the grass with different colours. I can't imagine not making time to appreciate all our gifts.

I love nature and I do what all you have mentioned and further Ilove to smell the mother earth before it rains.

i like to watch the sun setting on the river it looks great and the sounds ect are very relaxing

Yes, which enables me to enjoy a value moment for me alone. Roses are the most beautiful flowers. When I see them, I always feel contented, they remind me that life is beautiful despite the "thorns". Sometimes I meditate when I see a rose. I stare at it examining its wholeness thereby wandering to wonderful places I´ve never seen in my life and everytime, I feel much awe.

It is a question very relevant to me now a days . For last couple of years I have been so timeless that none of these could I do with full heartedness . I have done all of them , but without the heart there . In fact whatever in this line I have done lately , done for sake of my child only . He sometimes enjoys them . Really I am sadly and very unfortunately too far away from the nature that I used to enjoy a few years ago .

I was a Hurricane Katrina victim and ever since then I have relized life is short, so you better take the time to be happy because you never know when it will be gone.

Unfortunately that thought hasn't came to my mind.

I like to walk in the back yard every morning, whether it's raining or snowing or sunny or whatever. It gives me a great start to the day. If we don't stop to smell the roses, what good is life, anyway? Isn't life about living? (As opposed to "doing"?)

not usually i like to always be doing stuff and not just relaxing and beeing dormant

I Love watching the Sunset or Sunrise especially in an open area where you can enjoy Gods Beauty around you.

i like to stop and watch people interact with each other...i guess im a people watcher... its fun to watch people get mad at each other, laugh at each other, cry with each other or just be with each other... i like large groups, small groups or even someone by themselves...its just good to know that eventhough i dont know who they are, we're in this world together...

I like to watch sunset by sitting in a garden.

I try to do that everyonce and a while. its kinda funny because if Im trying to read a book, thats when the birds out side start their little jam session and I cant concentrate.

Do you mean literally? Then no, I don’t take the time to smell the roses, I have hay fever so it usually ends me out into a sneezing fit, that or my eyes itch worse than a bug bite. However I’m usually running while the sun rises so I guess essentially you could say I take the time to watch the sun rise.

When I'm on scroll, not dared to touch the roses due to the thorns it has.

I like roses but I guess It is awkward to smell it, just beauty to my eyes.
