for what reasons do children hide their love from their parents?

I dont hide love from my parents.

children tend to hide their love from their parents first of all because they themselves are not sure of their love. it could also be due to the nature of the parents. the individual behaviour of a child could also be one of the reasons. the most striking reason could be that the child intends to tell the parent at a later date and in a more systematic manner when everything between the child and the partner has been decided.

I don't think childrens are hiding love for their parents. They are still very young to know about how love is be given to their parents because what I know is they are the ones needing care from their parents.

Because of distance being maintained with children by the parents from childhood. After an age, there must develop friendship among children & parents. Then only the young child will tell freely about his/her feeling.

not at all they hide their love from their parents. i think for the reason they do that, if their parent is no have open minded that their children has grew up. or their parent is over protected to save their child

Just a piece of advice. Never hide your love to your parents coz ull never know when will they be gone...if they're gone, how can u tell them u love them. at least, make them happy and satisfied that they were able to brought up a good person in you. be true =)

I think that they are little scary because if you know the name I bet that you will give money to find information about that person and the second reason is that some children`s are thinking that they are too little to have love and they think that if you know you will say you are too little watch your school work don't go out with that girl because your grades will go down.

I think the reason because they still shy to be open with their parent or they afraid their love or relationship to be rejected.

it could be embarrassing, or they think its apart of maturing and growing up.

hide ? you mean not expressing their love to their parents ? or just simply don't say to their parents that they love them ? most common possibilities is that their parents also 'hiding' their love expressions to their children (maybe the parents did express their love, but from their children point of view, the parents didn't express or say it to them) what the child does, ussualy they learn it from their parents, they'll treat their parents almost exactly the way their parents treat them.
