my friend is a teacher in a language school in Egypt, she hasbeen working for 15 years now.IN her own words She says "students have changed a great deal, there is no respect for the teacher, no interest in their studying I feel I can't deal with such kinds of students. Of course there is minority who are interested, but only a minority. I don't know how to deal with them. I'm supposed to be a loving and a good teacher for many others, they go to the Principal of the school and beg him to let me teach their kids in class, however I confess that I failed to attract those kids to me. I'll be glad if you suggest new ways that I can do to appeal to them."So,please if u people hav any good suggestions help her....

I am a teacher and I am very glad to give you some suggestions. 1. Don't keep a close relationship with any student, always keep some distance. 2. Don't talk anything not related to the subject unless really there is a need. 3. Be sincere in your work, don't postpone any work unnecessarily. 4. Update yourself with the latest news and technologies, that means you must be one step ahead of students.

Ask the students what they are interested in? Sometimes it is a matter of adding technology, unusal fact....http://glossary.plasmalink.com/glossary.html might help.

I think everyone needs some discipline and without it we fail to respect those who teach us and are in a position of control
