Olive oil, palm oil, groundnut oil, sunflower oil - there are many oils used for cooking puposes. Scientists say that olive oil has ‘good’ cholesterol, which does not lead to formation of plaque in arteries. They also say that it contains NSAID (Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs) such as ibuprofen and aspirin without their usual unpleasant gastric complications. Which cooking oil do you use at home? At home, we use Rice-Bran oil, which contains a range of fats, with 47% of its fats monounsaturated, 33% polyunsaturated, and 20% saturated. It is supposed to contain antioxidants, which prevent heart attacks, lowered cholesterol absorption and plenty of vitamin E. How about you?
