Ganguly back as captain

Now,since ganguly is back in the odi team with runs under his belt and considering the poor perfomance of the indian team under rahul's captaincy,do you think ganguly should be reappointed as captain for this years world cup.
i personnaly think he should be.here are the reasons for that,
1.he is indias sucessful captain
2.dravid's own perfomance is going from bad to worse in the south africa series.he now needs to concentrate on his perfomance.
2.tendulkar never wanted to lead india.so if dravid is striped of captaincy.none other than ganguly can be appointed as captain in this current team.
what are your thoughts............

yes figures shows that he is a good captain ..he is the most successful captain in the indian cricket history so i think he should be selected as a captain .the main reason for his success is that he can bear stress,.so i would love to se him back as captain

Well india team is safe only under the captiancy of ganguly only,from the past records you can see that ganguly is the most successful captian in indain team .The rise and fall of a career are the part of the game ,i dont think if any cricketer is not in good form then he is no more able to lead the team,Ganguly play well you will again become the captian of indian team.

No i dont think so. and infact ganguly has to be in the team as a normal member and prove some more to get back to his position as a captain

i never blamed dravid for his failures.he is a great batsman.perhaps techniquely the best batsman india has had after gavaskar.he will come after it for sure.i am asking or talking about droping dravid.he is not very aggresive in his captainship.his captainship is the same as his batting(defensive).we need a aggresive captain.

ganguly is very good batsman specially in ODIs, and he is a good captain but he was failed in most of the matches he captained the side, thats why he was out of the team, now he is back and making runs, but Idont think itis wise decision to give him the Captaincy, coming to dravids captaincy every one in the indian side are struggling with the form and thst is showing on dravids batting also, dravis is Mr. dependable for India, he has done wonders to the team, ithink dravid must be the captain for the WC

i think that ganguly should be made the captain again..he has done a lot for india..he is the most successful in the indian cricket history..and he is the most eligible captain for the world cup...their is some chance when ganguly is the captain..

Even if ganguly gets a chance to become the captain,i think he should deny that because he has to concentrate of his own performance now .Securing a permanent position in the team must be his aim,not captaincy.

india should have an aggressive captain maybe zaheer khan or kumble...

No way should Ganguly be made the captain again. He has had his prime is now in the team what matters and that is performance. We cannot have change in leadership at the 11th hour. Rahul is doing his bit well. It is not his fault if most of the team is out of form. They are getting their bearings right, slowly but surely. I betcha the world cup season is gonna be a fun time. Keep watching!

I am admire of captaincy of Sourav. He is natural leader. He leads the team from the front. But the reality is there is no chance to lead the team by Sourav unless there is miracle. Hope there will be miracle and we will see our belove team in final of world cup 2007.

i thought like you in the begining when ganguly was dropped from the team.i thought there was no chance of ganguly making it to the team after he was droped from team after the test series in pakistan.but he did it.why cant he do it again with thi issue also......

Guys, forget the past. A good captain always inspires confidence and leads by example by batting, bowling or fielding better than most of his men. Presently his batting is passable, bowling is pedestrian and he was never a good fielder. Citing Ganguly's aggression on the field or remembering past glory alone should not be the criteria for reappointing him as captain. And speaking about past glory, it seems he has lost most one day finals than any other captain in cricket history. Maybe considering his experience, he can be appointed as vice captain under Dravid.

everyone would accept that ganguly is a good captain
but as far as i have analysed our indian team captains do not last long their performance in the field reduces wat is the reason behind it ?
is that they have more work load and couldnt perform well ?

GANGULY HAS BEEN THE SUCESSFUL INDIAN CAPTAIN THAN ANY OTHER IN INDIA.HE HAS MADE INDIA WIN OVER 500 MATHES.HE HAS BEEN THE MOST SUCESSFUL CAPTAIN OF INDIA.HE HAS NOW BACK IN FORM AND CAN GIVE RESPONSIBILITY OF CAPTAIN.HE HAS 3 PLACE IN ODI RUN SCORING PERSON.I THINK HE SHOULD BE APPOINTED AS A CAPTAIN.
