When is White Castle coming to California?

When we got Crispy Creme out here about 4 years ago I figured White Castle was not too far behind but as of yet the only place to get one here in the Golden State is your grocers freezer section and those cannot be as good as the real thing...

Well, I can't say that I have tried White Castle...with the exception of the one's from the grocer's freezer. To me, White Castle, is a immitation of Krystal's. I am from the south. And in the south that little burger on the tiny square bun comes from a place called Krystal's. Try looking it up there....it might make a good substitute for you. :)

History Channel's good eats show seemed to indicate the White Castle came before Krystal's but I would not know for sure. As for Krystal's, when I've been in Texas for work the locals would recommend them or Fatburger as the bestter ones around.

I have heard of Whataburger in Texas...but never heard of Fatburger. LOL I don't know the history of White Castle. They probably created before Krystal's. LOL But that would mean that Krystal's stole their idea. Which is probably why one can only find Krystal's in Florida and not White Castle. :)

The Krystal Mafia is pretty strong in Florida so that probably helps. 8-)
