I would have to say my Fav is Lord of the Rings. The Matrix was good, but not for me. The ALL TIME best is Star Wars of course, but now I suppose thats out because it really isnt a trilogy anymore.... what do you call a movie with 6 parts?

I dont like triology's. because the 2nd and 3rd movies are not as good as the 1st, execpt Lor of the rings, all of them movies rocked !!

usually, the 1st is always the best. but there are some exceptions to this such as what you've said, the lord of the rings trilogy is the best! all sequels are good. but Mission impossible trilogy is also great and terminator trilogy. i also find Xmen trilogy great! and i am looking forward to the third sequel of spiderman. i think spiderman really rocks!

Where's Star Wars? Some people do agree that Star Wars was the original "trilogy". LOL - just kidding...
I really love Matrix and LOTR. I can't say which I like more but those two are my favorite. I'm not into the gangster movie thing so I'm not a big on the Godfather. And Terminater was pretty good but not considered one of my favorites.

I think the LOTR trilogy is the best sequel Ive seen so far. Next to my list is the Spiderman moviews.

I've only seen the first two Matrix movies, however, I did enjoyed those. Same with Godfather, which I saw the first and third. Other than that, the top on my list would have to be Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (first three originals), and Indiana Jones, which I hear has a fourth coming out in 2008 (whee!).

whenever i get to see questions like this, i find it hard to think about which is best for me. but after sometime of thinking, i find Lord of the Rings the best trilogy ever that i have ever seen. the characters are great, the story is beyond compare and the characters' bravery is beyond compare. i love the friendship between Frodo and Sam here. very inspiring!
