if you shout at a og, say bad things to him, curse him, hit him, or forgot to feed him for a day... he will still come running to you, waggling his tail, as if nothing happen... you cant do that to your guy best friend or girl best friend

I don't know the exact reason as to why that is said, but I would guess that people (hence the man part) like dogs (hence the friend).
