I am in a seminary all because of curiosity and the kind of discipline and education I'd be getting. I never had the intention to become a man of the cloth yet as the years (6 years actually) passed by, I have begun to like life here--in that sense the idea that maybe this is HIS plan for me. What made me chose this life after I graduated from high school was the "undecided-ness", the "directionless", the "pointless" life back then. I didn't know what to do with life after high school, so to speak. Now, I don't know if I should go on or go out... Any advice?

the undecidedness you had before you enter the seminary is the same as the undecidedness you have now. for me you should try living life outside the seminary and see what will happen. maybe this time you will have a different perspective in life. i know seminarians have spiritual directors, you should talk to him regarding you situation. he will be of great help to you but still the last decision will be yours.
God bless.. :)

I am not sure if I understood your posting correctly but it seems to me that after finishing high-school you didn't know what to do and life to you then was "directionless and undecidedness". After 6 years you still find yourself asking questions like should you go on or out, the same undecidedness you had before you entered the seminary. Since you said that you already began to like the life there feeling that maybe it's God's plan for you, you might as well go on. Don't go out unless you have a clear and concrete reason to do so because your next question you will be should I go back to the seminary or not?
And yes, I'm inclined to believe although you didn't not mention it, that it is not the decision to serve God that brought you to the seminary in the first place but the aimlessness of life. But God works in mysterious ways, He can use that decision of yours as a starting point for you to look at the issues involved and decide for yourself whether or not you want to serve God or to just find a meaning to your "directionless existence"
