It has worked for sure as ganguly has come back with a bang after playng domestic cricket. All the players seem to have got their touch back after competing in domestic matches. I think BCCI should introduce new rules like australian administration to have all international players playing atleast 2-3 domestic matches in order to qualify to play for their country at international level.

Thats a good idea as it will make all international players play domestic cricket. This inturn will make domestic cricket more competitive and improve the standard of domestic cricket's quality. BCCI will have to bring in such new plans if India has to become almost unbeatable like Australia.

Well, those International Indian players you are talking about were selected to play for the Indian team only because they played domestic matches. There is nothing wrong in going back the place where you came from and it always helps. Some players think that they are invincibles and treat domestic matches as a thing of past, but hopefully things have changed now for better with the insistence of BCCI and selectors.

You are absolutely right, some of these players take their domestic cricket team for granted after reaching international level. They forget that this the place that got them to stardom.
Things are changing now with BCCI being more trnasparent although former cricketers feel BCCI is still not that transparent but something is better than nothing. Ganguly's return to form showed that playing domestic cricket can bring good results and it will also make domestic cricket more competitive.

playing good cricket and handling preassure is always better than doing nothing or playing yolleyball football,.. other than cricket for the sake of practice these are done by the team till now bt the move to make the players play in domestic cricket is most welcome the players feel more homely and they can improve a loat doing this it has proved well in case of ganguly and irfaan sewag can also come back well if he improves his fooot work and selectiong of good deliveries to go after other than going after each and every delivery...
