The internet and technology have given us more ways of communicating and entertaining ourselves than ever before.Does this bring the family together or provide more reasons for families not to see each other.

There is two ways of looking into this point! one is that as some one else mentioned it could help many people staying in far off places to speak & see face to face on the screen of a computer.this is a tool for bringing a family together. but it also acts as a tool to distance your family as all the people are busy chatting on there seperate laptops & desktops & in many cases, the mom IMs her kids and hubby to tell them that dinner is ready.such cases are also existing.

Theres no straight answer for this one as it is entirely up to the individual and whether they wish to see thier family or not. If they are not a family person then maybe they would choose to not see them as often.

let's think that technology is a tools, such as a knive, you could kill someone with that, and also you could cook with that. Same with technology, it could brings family together, and also could breaking a family. So it depends on how you use that 'technology', the human factor that counts =)
