Some times Rejection will result in depression also. Depression is worse as it is caused within us, whereas rejection is by others.

I think rejection is worse than depression coz rejection always from a person who you love or trust most. When he/she betray you, may bring great hurt to you.

A very good question, rejection leads to depression, so I would say depression. I have had both and both are not very nice experiences to live through. I guess I am more used to rejection so don't take it so badly, depression can affect you big time and will go on for years, rejection will happen if someone rejects you on an occasion, it takes a while to get over it, sure, whereas depression is deep-rooted and can take years to get over, sometimes never!

I would have to say depression. I think rejection is difficult but you can get over it in time. And usually by yourself. But depression is something much more severe.

Depression is worst. you are depressed for no reason and you do not have control on your self. the anxiety of rejection go away with time. whereas depression can continue for years.

I think that depression would be worse than rejection because depression can last a lot longer than the feelings of rejection cause. However, I do believe that rejection can cause depression to worsen, especially for those who have depression already.

Depression is worse because its a problem that yourself has to deal with...rejection can be in any form but the reaction of the person depends on how he will take such rejection so deep or not..

Who do you feel rejection from and why? We, as humans, are so afraid of rejection sometimes, that we FEAR the things we need to do or say the most because of that fear and therefore can take or leave the idea of rejection itself.
On the other hand, depression is often and more often than not, lack of a chemical or stimulus in our brain that is the cause of depression. Well....depression would be my answer to which is "worse".

Well rejection can cause someone to be depressed so I don't know how to answer that. It is the depressed feeling that comes from being rejected that makes it so bad.

Rejection is a matter of how you take it and depression may be out of your control. Rejection, if you don't deal with it properly can spiral into depression.
