Who likes jazz?

John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald...I feel like I'm the only person who listens to any of these guys anymore. I feel old (though I'm not even 20 yet).

For a young person yes you may feel old among your peers but if you go to a jazzconcert there are lots of young people around. I love all the artists you mentioned in your post. The Trane is god.

My daughter often listens to jazz. She is also a jazz vocalist and very gifted.

i'm 24 and i love jazz. i play many songs of the great singer/player you wrote. i play piano jazz and i love o play jazz with some female singer :D
