Rice and peas with brown stew chicken, nothing tastes as good. It can be served on formal and informal ocassions. The rice is usually cooked in coconut milk with red or gungo peas seasoned with pimento, escallion, thyme, a little butter, salt and a dash of any other season you prefer.
The chicken is best went seasoned for a few hours before hand, it would be deep friend left to drained and futher cooked down with onions, tomato, herbs and spices.

probably my all time favorite recipe is as follows:
Alfredo Sauce
5oz heavy cream
tbls chives
Parmigiano Reggiano (not Kraft!)
one clove minced garlic
tbls flat leaf, italian parsely
Salt, Pepper, pinch of crushed red pepper, cayenne if you like heat.
3-5 basil leaves, chiffonade
optional cooked chicken or steamed broc.
cook your pasta to al dente (according to the box)
combine ingredients in a saute pan. as soon as your pasta is a minute away from being al dente strain it into a colander. over the highest heat possible, place your saute pan with combined ingredients. let the cream come to a full boil, then add the pasta. let the cream reduce again for another minute or until there is no sauce on the bottom of the pan. the sauce should have adhered to the pasta. sprinkle a little of the basil on top along with some more parmigiano. boo ya.
