When you get email notifying you of a response or comment to your discussion that when you clicked on it respond that it would take you straight to that particular response/comment. If you are lucky enough to get a lot of responses it takes for ever to find that particular one. I know if you get a new response it will be on the last page but if a member makes a comment to someone else's response you have to dig for it.

Im a member of a blogging community which has that feature. Its really cool since they notify you whenever some leave you a message or if someone has made you as his contact. I hope mylot has that feature too or better yet, our messages which could be found at the top portion of the screen blinks whenever some respond to our topic =).

I know this is very time consuming and maybe that would be something to ask mylot about because it would be a lot easier to just go straight to that discussion.

Yes I do as that is what takes most of my Time when I get responses the other I sat all Day just responding back as they are not always on the last Page some People respond in the Same Box as others do so you have to go through every Page to find it
It would be good if Mylot could work on something for that

I was just wishing that last night, going throught the longest discussion I had ever started lol! To top it all off, in a discussion about a scam, someone did that little cut and paste trick, copying an early response and leaving it again as his--I wanted to report him, but it took me forever to find him. Thanks for asking this question. I wish I could give it a double plus.

I think that this would be very helpful if there was an easier way to find a particular response to a discussion. Maybe this is something that MyLot can work on in the future. I am sure it would require programming and code and other stuff I am not fluent in.

I try to answer as many new discussions as possible to at least help people make something on there. I wish everyone would answer discussions with no answers, then i think it would help people make at least something on here.

If you don't have it turned off you do get email everytime. Of course if you posted top discussions you would get a lot of mail

The thing with this though is that (well, for me) my emal inbox would fill up very quickly! With all the posts I make, I would have emails all over. And I don't usually keep responding to all of the posts. I have other important emails that I recieve so if these are flooding my inbox, I could accidentaly delete on of the important ones. It could be useful sometimes, other times just a big pain.

I´d love a RSS feed that informed me whenever a new conversation, or even a chatroom.

Hi there,
I believe the very purpose of these forums is for people to SPEND time online rather than just check emails & shutdown. That calls for a regular checking at your posts so you keep yourself updated on whats happening to your post.
Just a thought :)
Best Regards
