Oatmeal - Oatmeal for breakfast, lunch, anytime!
Yes I do like oatmeal. I don't normally eat it plain, but I do love the instant stuff! Banana Bread, Maple Sugar, Date Fruit & Nut, Strawberry are some of my favorites. I try to use it in baking also whenever I remember to add it! I think it offers a great texture to baked goods. While also giving you the added benefits of fiber.

Oh how I love oatmeal. I eat it every morning with fruit! I will put some frozen blueberries or fresh strawberries or whatever fruit I have on hand into my oatmeal! Oatmeal makes a great bedtime snack too. When I make a meatloaf, I add oatmeal rather than bread for consistency. The health benefits are numerous with oatmeal. The following website outlines the many healthy benefits of eating oatmeal. http://health.learninginfo.org/benefits-oatmeal.htm

I did not know that it was National Oatmeal Month! Cool! Oatmeal is healthy to use in so many ways. I love to eat it raw with just some milk and sugar on it. Yummy! I use it in homemade breadmaking as well as in meatloafs, cookies and meatballs. I use it in most meat mixes to add the benefits of cholostrol fighting qualities. We are never without oats in our panty. we purchase them in 50 pound bags and repackage them so they last longer.

oats in bulk - when something is good for you and able to be used in so many ways that you can purchase in a large amount and none goes to waste
So you buy oats and then grind or oatmeal? 50 pound sacks is wonderful and you buy them where? So glad you are industrious and share it here! Thanks for responding!!

Oatmeal has been a favorite staple in my house since I was a little girl and most likely was on my Grandmother's and Greatgrandmother's pantry shelves. I use it in breads, as hot cereal, and in cookies. It is wholesome and lowers your cholesteral.

I love oatmeal in all forms that I can think of. Nice bowl of oatmeal ,oatmeal bars, snack and cookies. I do use the flavored instant but I also like to just make the regular and add fruit and nuts, more healthy that way.

Yes, oatmeal in the form of porrige is my prefered breakfast. But oatmeal is a supplimentary for breakfast, it is not an alternate. So along with oatmeal porrige atleast take one-two banana ( Monkey Banana - yellow small, not the green ) which will keep u energized the full day. I have done this nearly for two years, but not daily every alternate days. Thanks for my friend who introduced oatmeal to me.

I love oatmeal, with a ton of cinnamon and some raisins, what a great way to start the day. I use it in baking and in meatloaf instead of bread crumbs. One of the finest food available and at a reasonable price.
