How good is the star rating.

i still dun understand how this star rating works.. even i had type those word and post,it still consider me as pasting,i am really angry....am i seem like spamming?and how can i know my star rating?

I'm new here and haven't been rated yet,I made 0.13 on my first day but the increasing rate seems to be slowing down every minute,can you help me out

I like the new reputation ratings as well, but you can bet the spammers have not left. Be sure to check your longest discussions, and I will bet you will have at least on person who copies and pastes from another response and calls it his/hers, and one response from someone who will say "heheheheheheh....." or "hmmmmmmmm" That second person posted wanting to know how to make his star rating go up, so I told him "Quit doing that!" I am glad to hear that this is of benefit to you. I find it is to me as well.

Yeah, I noticed a considerable difference in my earnings too! It surely is a great incentive for us and even attracts us to post more with quality discussions. For the spammers, they are still here but I see that they're not as active as before.

My ratings have increased HUGELY -- for the first time EVER, I made $1.55 in one day, just on the discussions, and the photos I uploaded seem to be worth so much more! I think the difference depends on how high your rank is, so if it's about 5 or 6, it's probably about the average, normal earnings, and anything lower, I'd say you were looking at a loss...

actually, i just got the dang star. i think i finally got it wheni hit 100. anywho. how do i get a better star rating? do you know? i would sure like to know!!!

I haven't actually noticed any difference in my earnings since the star ratings started .. but I do think they are a good thing .. it certainly makes it easier for me to pick which discussions I will reply to first, and to stay away from some of the more dubious topics .. because it does seem that the higher the star rating the more thought and effort folks have put into their discussions and that must be a good thing ...

Yeah I think my earnings increased considerably since the star rating. Currently my rating is 8 and I think it's brilliant for a start. Hope to improve soon. Way to go MYLOT!!! and good luck guys.
