do you believe that earning more money makes you happier?

I would like to have more money. It costs a lot of money every month just to eat and to pay the bills. Our autistic son (he became autistic at age 12 from the school shot) needs a lot of supplements and things. All of these supplements and things are expensive.

define happiness? is it having stuff? probably, if not..then whatever it is requires having "stuff". Having stuff is the american dream. More money= more stuff= happiness. =]

of course money would make me happy but money is not everything.

Sometimes yes but in other times no if I'll earn money now without loosing anything that I have now it is ok but to earn money and for example loose my health or loose my friends so no I don't want money. Money isn't everything there are a lot of things more important

They did a big psychological study on this recently and came to the conclusion that money is important to happiness up to the point where needs are met and there's enough left for some frills. After that money has no effect at all on happiness. In other words you don't need millions but you do need enough to fit in comfortable with your own peer group. I think that's probably about right. Most people are fairly happy when they get a decent job but a lot of folks find out that winning the lottery often brings more problems than it's worth.

I think yes..why not..after all that way we go to school, to colege...to get a jok and earn lots of money

Yes,of course. When I see that I can earn money I am very happy,I have trust in me,I feel different,I feel like I like this life and I want to work more,because I know that I can earn more. Have a nice day;)

More money make us happy. Im my view everyone want more money than their current assets.And everyone finding more money for happiness.

there are different views to this i mean id like some more money to reach some goals i have in life but on the other hand i wouldnt like to win millions on the lottery as i wouldnt know what to do with it and i really dont think it would make me happy. it might help short term but in the long run if i did win millions or earn them i think i would die miserably and lonely at the end of my life. too much money can be bad people can befriend you just because you are wealthy they probably wont admit it but its always in the back of most of their minds.
