I have started thi discussion because i m also having a bad habit which others think cheap, do you think one should leave ones habit only because others think that it is cheap or because of inner urge. If you wish to quit your habit then how you would go about it.

I think i have left a really abad habit after doing it for 12 years of eating but now its is done due to innerself cal not from outside people saying .A person can leave the bad habit with the only awareness and courage from the innermost.

I have some experience about quitting bad habit. As I am a person with several bad behavior such as continuous chattering, getting up late, spending so much time on TV and so on.Recently I usually establish tables for changing my bad habit. And I conclude it every week by drawing some signs in the table of everyday. The most essential matter is you should pay attention on your changing habit by some way.I think framing table is a good choice.

I think a person should quit a bad habit because they want to quit. I don't think it should matter if someone else wants you to quit. I know I have a lot of bad habits, and most people do, and some of them might bother other people, but if they love me it won't matter. I smoke and it's a bad habit and I will quit when I want to, not when others tell me to. Besides if I don't really want to quit, what others say won't help me to quit.
