my discussion stolen???how to COMPLAIN?? WHAT TO DO???

Yikess, you should report it to he mylot admin. You can write them in contacts, found at the botom portion of this page. May i ask if the user that posted the same topic as yours has a rating above 500?. If so maybe he used his copy/paste privelege. In any case you must report it.

You can't say they are stealing, are you sure that STOLE it from you as they say. Like heaps of people ask Who has been paid...does that mean everyone stole it from one person. Whether you like it or not, at least one person in this world, would think the same thing as you!

Maybe it is not stolen but is very close to your idea but if it is the same you must report this and try also to send to this person a private message asking him why is doing this maybe he get shy from himself and stop this action.

First of all you have to understand that there are almost 60,000 members here from all around the world. That means that there can be discussions of same kind a lot of time and it doesn't mean that it's copied. It can happen to you too that you start a discussion which someone else started way back. Just imagine the case, if they report it to mylot and u lost all your earnings, when you were totally unknown about such a situation. So don't take matters that seriously!!

You WILL get discussions that will be simalar to yours. There is nothing realy wrong with that, as long as you have a different spin on it, and theirs is not exactly the same there is no problem. I have posted responces to many disc that are SIMALAR, but not the same. If this is about money, need to worry about something more than that. If they plagerising that would be different. If it is the same person over and over and over, of course report them. That would be wrong, and using you would be wrong. I am just saying there are a lot of people here on the site and we all have differnt views and ideas, but there will be a lot of us (including you) you have the same view and ideas. Hope it does not happen again to ya, I know it can be frustrating; happened to me at Yahoo all of the time

Hello. I only joined yesterday and am a little concerned. I would never intentionally steal someones discussion topics....but realistically there are so many discussions on here...some with good responses and others with hardly any it would be hard to have a completely new idea. xxx

if you read the guidelines you'll see that you can report this person by pressing the "abuse" report and put your reason when you do this.but 1st you have to be real sure if they really steal ur topic or maybe its just same meaning but diff words.are the stolen topic is your topic u have post earlier then they do? anyway you have to be sure 1st before you report them

hmmmmm..... strange! it has not happened to me till now , i think. maybe it happened to me also but i don't know about it and since it has happened with you i think u shud report this to mylot and warn that user to not do that

I understand what you are saying and sympathise. However with the amount of users on this site, some of the conversations will be similar. It's impossible to have all new discussions all the time. The amount of times I have seen discussions about religion, abortion, homosexuality, where do you live, does mylot pay, how much can you earn here, how does mylot works is ridiculous. I don't think people are stealing your discussions on purpose unless they are coping it word for word. Just my opinion!

In which court you will make complaint? This is very common in internet practice. be ool and let decide it by Mylot authority.

look if da stuff u hav posted out here has been cut and copied elsewhere,den u must take dis to the authoritiez. but in case new discussionz hav been started wid similar topicz,then der iz nothing u can do about it,cuz doing such a thing iz permissible.

If you notice there are lot of discussions that all most the same.. i have started one and then i see later that one is started either before me or after me.. But i don't think they are stealing..Maybe its a coincidence

There are a lot of copy cats around here. I see it everyday. I donot know how you can control something like that.

Don't know it is any help but. Even though I'm still new here, I was under the impression that responing to dicussions would give also earn points of credit as well. AS I see it the idea isn't the only way, you could respond to the others as well as your own. I know in life I've had the same feelings at times that ideas were stolen but rather than get hung up on that add responses to theirs and you can always add to your own.

yh you should report it or something because it aint for you to waste your time and some one else rob your discussion
